A few days have passed since the Jolly Holly and I am still in complete disbelief with the race this year! This was the 30th year of the race and the 5th that our organization has hosted and it was the best year ever! We had 195 people combined register for the 5k and 1 mi run/walk. This beats our highest total by about 30 people!

You may or may not know, but the Jolly Holly serves as our nonprofit’s largest fundraising event of the year. We also split all proceeds with another local nonprofit called Positive Vibes Community Group. I am very happy to report that in addition to having more participants than ever before, we also raised more money than ever before! All of this is because of people like you that wanted to get involved in a great event for a great cause. We cannot thank our participants enough!

In addition to our incredible runners, we also want to give a shout-out to our partners and generous sponsors! First, this race is not possible without the planning and help from Second Capital Running. Their work is second to none and they have done so much to help us make this event what it is! Second, if you ever have any needs for shirts or printed apparel, please contact our good friends at Pressing On Prints (call Raynard Gross at (609) 334-4911). Raynard and his team have been doing our race shirts for the last few years and we could not be happier!

One of our sponsors, Novacare Rehabilitation, donated 2 tickets to their Executive Suite for an upcoming 76ers game (January 8th against the Washington Wizards). We are holding a raffle to pick a winner for these awesome tickets. Raffle tickets are $10 a piece and $25 for 3 tickets. To learn more and to purchase your raffle tickets, just click here! Remember, all proceeds from this raffle will benefit two great nonprofit organizations in Millville! Additionally, at the bottom of this post is a list of all our sponsors with a link to their respective websites. If you have a minute, please check them out and support however you can.

We are looking forward to the challenge of breaking 200 participants next year!
